Yang Liang is an assistant professor of economics and assistant director for the Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies at San Diego State University. Liang is an applied economist specializing in international and labor economics. His research focuses on how firms and workers respond to globalization and market integration. His work has been published in peer reviewed journals including The World Economy, China Economic Review as well as policy briefs with the Peter Institute for International Economics. Liang received his Ph.D. in Economics from Syracuse University.
