Yang Liang is an associate professor of economics and associate director for the Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies at San Diego State University. Liang is an applied microeconomist with research interests in public policy analysis across the fields of health, labor, and international economics. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Health Economics, the Journal of Applied Econometrics, the Journal of Urban Economics, the Journal of Population Economics, and the Review of International Economics. Liang received his Ph.D. in Economics from Syracuse University in 2018.
