Undergraduate Advising Assistance

The Department of Economics has several advisors to provide guidance and advice about the major, the minor, specializations, and the graduate program. Advising is available via email or via Zoom during the advising hours shown below. Advisors can assist with: Change of major, Change of Minor, Request for Adjustment of Academic Requirement (RAAR), Study Abroad Approvals, International Course Approval, GPA Calculations, Graduation Requirements and general academic advice.

I am a first- or second-year student...

Undergraduate advising for first- and second-year students is provided by your Coordinated Care advisor. Keep in mind that your Coordinated Care Advisor is your first point of contact for lower division General Education advising. To find your advisor, please log in to SDSU Navigate (EAB).

I am a junior or senior...

If you are a junior or senior, your major advising will be conducted by your major advisor, whose information is listed below.

Virtual Tutoring

Tutoring is provided for undergraduate economic courses. Tutoring sessions are FREE and 50 minutes long. You may sign up for no more than two sessions per week. Please have your textbook and class notes for each tutoring session. Tutoring sessions will be held on zoom.

Cancellations must be made at least one hour prior to your scheduled session. Please log in to the calendar to delete your appointment. If you make and cancel several tutoring appointments, or if you do not show up for a scheduled session, you must wait two weeks before scheduling another appointment.
